Sonarani means Queen. Every daughter is a queen in the eyes of their parents. I am a queen in both of my parents’ eyes. I have seen my parents working in the agriculture field, and providing great quality foods for the community. These spices, pulses, and grains must have been a huge benefit to their community. I have been running an Indian grocery store for the past 7 years and have been striving to give better quality spices, pulses, and other Indian products to the community.

After doing market research and looking at the needs of customers, we came to start our own brand, Sonarani Foods. We are aiming to provide a better quality of Indian products so that everyone can enjoy Indian cuisine. I have found a strategic partner to help me succeed in establishing this company. This company is woman-owned and is a B CORP business, meaning we share profit and gives back to the community and our farmers.
